The Way ahead looks Clearer
After the selection process in August, the project commenced on the 1 st September 2019 in a positive way, with the six selected students highly motivated and able to participate fully. Lukas Landert, the Optician Trainer, is very excited to be finally teaching this course and has been very satisfied with the progress of the students whose motivation has remained high.
He has been teaching the students to be more analytical in their thinking and in their ability to handle abstract concepts – which isn’t common in this society. Despite their having different levels of English to start with, all 6 are making progress in their ability to utilize the specialized English relating to Optics and optician training.
While the Optician Trainer took his break at the end of September/beginning of October the language teacher gave the students a three-week intensive English course, which proved very helpful for them.
