Sporting success continues…
With over 110 Orphans now involved and 463 members in the football club, we can report this sports program is a raging success! Namely, the under 12 & 14 teams are leading in their competition, making it to the upcoming Finals. International scouts are attending, with many players already being accepted to various international training academies.
Orphan sport players accepted to international academies…
Excitingly, the program has brought Orphans together to play sport, some players have excelled to the point of being accepted into international training Academies…with one player in Germany training with the European Academy and another in Great Britian training with a UK Academy. Five boys are currently in Turkey playing in the Junior World Cup Tournament. They are very proud of all the success and grateful to everyone’s donations who helped make this dream a reality.
New fields…
- Talks are being held with the Price of Wales grammar school and FIFA to rent a large parcel of land in the City Area for the Field and Sports Club with a resolution expected later this year.
- Continuing to develop Sports Club & educational facilities for orphans and street children.
