Home visits…
The managers, Will and Julie, and teachers from the preschool are now visiting the homes of the 71 children to further their understanding of the children’s needs and provide support to families / carers…a big but worthwhile commitment!
Visitors welcomed…
Visitors from Cambodia and South Africa have visited recently providing valuable support and assistance for the managers, teachers and children.
Ongoing schedule…
- The milk program providing milk weekly restarted in March 2024.
- The school hours continue Monday to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for 4 hours.
- Teachers, managers and board members meet regularly via zoom. Will and Julie meet with the teachers weekly.
Challenges
- Will and Julie are still struggling to extend their NGO visas. Their visits are important to provide ongoing support and supervision. The teachers, children, parents and grandparents really appreciate their visits and the quality of the children’s education.
- Funds for the continued running of the preschool.
