Children Graduate
We are proud of the children who graduated from 10th grade, having scored full CGPA of 10 points. Applications have been made on behalf of these children to IIIT Basar to further their education…Awaiting response from the University.
It is still not confirmed when school will restart. Until then, every stage is being treated as a learning opportunity and we thank God we have been able to adapt to each circumstance.
All Safe and Healthy
The 54 children and 9 staff members are currently safe and healthy despite the effects of COVID-19 in the area. The children are being monitored regularly. Some of the children were sick due to weather changes and had viral fevers. Insects have also been affecting them. There are plans to insect proof the buildings to eliminate the use of smoke as repellent.
Water Tank
Good news…Work will commence soon on the water tank project due to gracious donations. Thank you! This will eradicate the water scarcity in the Children Home.
The Family Grows
5 new children have been added to our family by the Government CWC recently as their families are unable to care for them for various reasons including COVID-19 related lockdowns. Three boys from one family and a girl and boy from another family have now settled in well to the Children’s Home and enjoying life.
Another orphaned girl was brought to the Children’s Home earlier in the year. She suffered malnutrition nor had experienced any loving care. Her health issues became severe related to eating hair when hungry and was thought to be untreatable by medical staff. Miraculously, prayers were answered and she is now leading a happy and cheerful life with the big family.
