Growing business…
With generous donations received recently, twelve new micro businesses were funded…
- Nine sewing machines with dress making paraphernalia kits.
- Three buy and sell Tea & Coffee mobile vendor paraphernalia kits.
Being able to earn their livelihood changes lives enabling participants to develop and thrive. Many are showing their gratitude by becoming more diligent in their micro loan repayments.
Costs increase…
The average cost of financial outlay per micro business has increased due to rising inflation: averaging 9% per year for the previous three financial years. A sewing machine cost $125 in 2021 and today it costs $167 not including outlay for cloth, scissors, markers, transportation etc. for setting up the business.
