Growing from strength to strength…
Student numbers in primary school and computer skills training, and attendees at medical outreach clinic continue to increase exponentially.
Pioneer and second set of students graduated from computer skills training with those excelling in different capacities receiving refurbished laptops. New enrolments in the third computer skills course are more than expected with a growing waiting list.
M & B Memorial Initiative has provided school uniforms for 110 from prep to primary year 6. The recent graduation ceremony was well received by over 520 community members and 56 students. Two students were gifted apprenticeships as electricians and solar power installers fully by this project.
Other initiatives…
- Another geophysical test for suitable bore site was inconclusive.
- The use of solar power has proved valuable to community members to recharge phones, touch lights and rechargeable devices.
- Beneficiaries are keen for regular community interventions.
- Future plans to supply more school uniforms, introduce more skills training and extra moral lessons, and tutorials for students are reliant on receipt of funds.
