Jan Buchanan writes of pressure and progress:
“Here, at last, is my very late report. So sorry! I have some things on the go in Worcester that I am dealing with now. We are negotiating with a company, Shoprite, to put a small container shop on one of the pieces of land in Avian Park. Initially, the return is very low, but if it goes well, they may want to put a bigger supermarket there in a few years. We are negotiating to get electricity on, which is really expensive. I’m thankful that the Lord provided a volunteer this year who is trained as a lawyer, so he is able to handle negotiations.
Other Openings
I am also working with Avian Park NPO Umbrella to set up a training centre on our land, made up of about 12-14 containers. We trust to get that up and running by the beginning of the year. The NPO Umbrella group are very dedicated, and I know it will be a great blessing to work with them.”
