Children are thriving…
The orphanage currently with 55 children and 8 staff, is going from strength to strength…fueled by love for the orphans and a loving, secure environment. The children are succeeding academically, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Orphanage complex grows…
To meet the growing needs of the orphanage, the following works were needed:
- New accommodation for the Dorm parents has been constructed away from the girl’s side of the campus to comply with Government rules and demands. It contains two bedrooms, attached bathroom, Hall and kitchen. The dorm parents’ along with their 2 children are enjoying their new quarters.
- Screen doors have installed to reduce mosquitoes and other insects.
- A new wall has been constructed around the boy’s dormitory for privacy and security.
- Chicken coup needed repairs and flood proofing after the chickens died in the flooding.
- The second phase construction with the remaining amount to cover up the total roof for the first floor.
New Vehicle…
A New vehicle, Bolero Neo Plus, was purchased from donations received…thank you to those who have donated. The vehicle was needed to transport children from the orphanage to the schools and for shopping especially in inclement weather.
