Precious water…
The orphanage now has an adequate supply of water! Water shortage has always been a major concern for the campus. The Government provided the pipeline and the team installed a water tank at the campus from funds given by HADA. All watched with excitement as the water tank arrived and was installed. The children and the team are extremely thankful for all who have supported this project.
School is back…
Though the children had rough start with school with the Lockdown conditions, they are currently able to attend external schools. Potential lockdowns are looming though with the third wave of Covid-19. All major precautions are being taken to keep each child and team member healthy and safe.
Despite all the upheavals, all the children are excelling in their respective academic studies.
Good news stories…
- A nine-year-old girl was rescued from a roadside circus family where she performed circus tricks and begged for money. She had never experienced personal love, care or parental guidance. She is now flourishing as a member of this large loving family with much care and togetherness.
- Rani and Shiva were married in a beautiful ceremony in October and are very thankful for the generous gift towards her wedding.
- Two of the girls rescued last year graduated from school with the highest grades and have found placements at Telangana’s No.1 College for their higher education.
