ACN Awareness Programme
Last week ACN organized an awareness program on anti-human trafficking by mobilizing children’s clubs under the Combat Human Trafficking (CHT) programme in seven places in the Kaski district. During the program, children distributed posters, provided information to the community on human trafficking and posted informative posters about human trafficking on their homes and public places, after getting approval from them.
The members of each children’s club participated in this community awareness program on anti-human trafficking. They enjoyed immensely sharing what they had learned about this horrible activity from the children’s clubs. 231 children from seven children’s clubs participated in this program.
CHT program is working on raising awareness on anti-human trafficking and child protection through the mobilization of children’s clubs. Currently, we have 7 clubs in Kaski and 2 others in Nawalparasi.
