Life at the pre-school…
The preschool classes are from 14:00pm until 17:00pm Monday to Friday. Zoom meetings continue every Friday afternoon with ELIC board members, the ELIC English language school in Phnom Penh and Good Neighbours school in Trea. Each teacher has a turn to lead the meeting. The teachers continue to visit with the children’s parents/ guardians at their homes.
Updates…
- Two more children joined the program, making a total of 50 pupils.
- They are pleased to have a new volunteer helping at the pre-school.
- The Trea Leur host school is replacing the roofing for all the buildings.
Seasonal Challenges…
It is now the hot season, making classroom conditions uncomfortable for both children and teachers and with it come the common illnesses, including colds and fevers affecting attendance.
