Above and beyond…
The schools continue to maintain academic results above all expectations…significantly higher than the national averages. The boys are progressing through school in the upper half of their classes.
The young men in our orphanage remain well and growing rapidly. Durjoy and Jitu completed their Year 10 government School Certificate exams and achieved GPAs of 4.71 and 4.87 respectively!
Directors visit…
All were encouraged by the Caleb Directors’ visit to most of the schools. Individual school self-sufficiency programs were on the agenda…one starting in mid-2023.
2023 in view…
The focus remains to support the boys’ development at the orphanage and ensure a quality education for the children at the schools.

Challenges…
Difficulty increasing the school enrolments due to the downturn in the economy, higher unemployment and future uncertainty related to Covid-19…enrolments at the Tongi school continue below the target of 100.
