Hope Rises…
Excitement is building at the Grace Care Secondary School in Nakawuka, Uganda, as construction progresses. Plastering of the remaining building exterior is next, and preparations are underway for a new dormitory. Despite a two-year delay due to global price increases, the team is rallying supporters to boost fundraising and finish the next stage. Graduates from the affiliated primary school are waiting eagerly for the secondary school to open.
Resilient Community Spirit…
The local community are grateful for the job opportunities construction has brought. Access to clean water from the school’s well is life-changing—especially during a recent drought when demand surged. The community are eager to see the school open.
Building for the Next Generation…
This secondary school represents a vital next step for children graduating from the existing primary schools…providing pathways for future education. This former bean field is now a beacon of hope for vocational training and future employment opportunities for local youth.
