Ongoing initiatives and impact:
M & B initiative remain committed to empowering individuals through education, skills development, and targeted support programs as shown below:
- Expanded student support in education…School uniform initiative continues to expand, contributing to the broader growth from 23 students supported in 2023 to 110 students in 2025 and enabling additional children—particularly at preparatory and primary levels—to attend school consistently.
- Sustained growth in digital skills training…A steady increase in students and other community members participating in computer skills training program reflects rising interest in digital literacy as a pathway to employment and education.
- Progress in vocational training pathways…The two beneficiaries enrolled in electrical and solar installation apprenticeships have advanced in their practical training, gaining hands-on experience and moving closer to income-generating opportunities.
- Continued impact in higher education support…Scholarship recipients have remained actively engaged and progressing well – one in Community Health and the other in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Ongoing benefit from medical interventions…Beneficiaries who received eye surgeries are experiencing sustained improvements in vision and daily functioning, with continued positive effects on their independence and quality of life. Another person received major, complex procedure and is now independent with all daily activities.
- Milestone in international education maintained…The pioneer student admitted to an Advanced Diploma in Community Services in Australia continues her academic journey…a milestone in successfully expanding global education opportunities.
- Borehole water for the community…In collaboration with the federal government of Nigeria, they are looking to provide clean water for the community.
