Celebrating together…
Celebrating Christmas at the different branches of the dream library created great memories for the children, giving them a sense of belonging. They performed dances, sang, recited poems, enjoyed a puppet show, shared delicious food and received a gift. This love was shared with 190 children!
Good news…
214 children regularly attend the various locations of the library – most attend Monday to Friday while others have fixed days due to other commitments. There are many success stories of children’s lives being transformed through reading books at the branches of the library. Some are listed below:
- Han-Altai in grade 8 is now receiving awards as a good reader at school,
- Tenuun in grade 2 has been rewarded at school as a leader on sports day,
- Enhkriilen in grade 4 was unable to understand simple mathematics can now do multi-digit division, and
- Zol-Erdene in grade 3 has amazed teachers at school with his improved English and increased speed of reading and writing.
Teachers needed…
The leaders are wanting to recruit more good teachers for 2 possible new library branches to transform more lives.
