Lockdown continues…
COVID-19 is still spreading in Fiji and the children at St Tabitha’s Orphanage/Children’s Home remain in lockdown with schools attempting to provide Zoom lessons. Paradise4kids continue to provide support in any way possible given the flight restrictions in travelling to Fiji.
Funds gratefully received!
Fundraising continues despite cancellation of a major fund-raising event due to COVID-19 and challenges opening a Fiji bank account. The Good-to-Give Program continues with donors via workplace giving. Facebook followers are increasing and with this the traction continues to increase via social media and word of mouth.
The funds raised have enabled the purchase of ceiling fans in the bedrooms at the orphanage, needed clothes and footwear for the children and two Tablets for the children for Zoom lessons. The leaders at the orphanage are very grateful for these items and for the video communication with the children.
