lWarwick Lloyd writes about the situation in Bangladesh:
Providing Food
“We have been providing food for the communities we serve and have ramped it up in Dhaka as there is a great need and other local “organisations” aren’t tending to people’s needs.
Statistics Mean People in Need
Unfortunately, the spread of COVID-19 hasn’t abated with cases going from 15,691 to 60,391 over the last month and deaths tragically going from 239 to 811. On May 20, Eastern India and much of Bangladesh was ravaged by Cyclone Amphan which was the worst cyclone in 20 years. It adversely impacted the rice and mango harvests and caused much flooding. The combination of the two things has left millions in dire circumstances.
