Working tirelessly…
Prof Judith Goh AO, Prof Hannah Krause AO and team continue to work tirelessly, under hazardous circumstances at times, to help women with obstetric fistula and incontinence in Africa and Asia through training local doctors and nurses and running operating camps. They have given new life to hundreds of women who have suffered with these debilitating conditions related to childbirth.
South Sudan…
A recent highlight was helping women in South Sudan despite the ongoing conflicts. Many women attended the clinics, and the team were able to get home safely.
Upcoming schedule…
This wonderful team are in Malaysia, Cambodia in Mid-April / May and Uganda in June.
The Cambodian doctors performing procedures have requested further upskilling to continue this life transforming surgery. What an amazing legacy this team is leaving for the women in these countries!
